Last year, festival-goers experienced a scaled-down version of the event due to the coronavirus pandemic. For its tenth iteration, the festival is adding more performers and bringing back some familiar acts, including headliners Tame Impala, Iggy Pop and King Lizard and the Wizard Gizzard.
Tame Impala will perform the entirety of its album “Lonerism” which is also celebrating its 10th anniversary. The Australian psychedelic rock band performed at the festival in 2018 but had its set cut short due to a heavy thunderstorm.
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard was also part of the 2018 lineup but didn’t run into the same trouble thanks to better weather conditions and an swift response by the festival’s organizers. The band recently released the album “Omnium Gatherum” and performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Attendees can also expect the return of the festival’s photogenic and interactive art installations, film screenings, morning yoga and additional nighttime performances for campers.
